1. Overview

Phrasicle is a daily word chain puzzle game available at Phrasicle.com. By using this site you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. No accounts

Phrasicle does not offer accounts and does not require a login. Your game progress is stored locally in your browser. Because we hold no account for you, there is no account for us to suspend, and no credentials for you to keep secure.

3. Game progress and data

Your history lives in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data, using a private window, or switching devices will lose it unless you have saved a backup code from the tracker. We do not keep a copy, so we cannot restore progress for you.

4. Advertising

We display advertising through Monumetric and Google AdSense. Ads may be personalised based on your browsing activity, and cookies or device identifiers may be used by those providers and their partners. See the Privacy Policy for opt-out links.

5. Acceptable use

• No bots, scripts or automated tools to play the game
• No reverse engineering or republishing of game content
• No behaviour that disrupts or harms the site or other players

6. Intellectual property

All game content, puzzles, design and branding are owned by Phrasicle and may not be reused without permission.

7. Availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time. A new puzzle each day is the intention, not a guarantee.

8. Disclaimers

Phrasicle is provided "as is" with no warranties. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages, or for loss of locally stored game data.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
