How to Play
← Back to Today's PhrasiclePhrasicle is a daily word-chain puzzle game where you link connected words to form short phrases. Each row leads to a final mystery phrase — the “Phrasicle” — that you must solve at the end!
🎯 Objective
Fill in each row by finding five words that form a sequence of natural two-word phrases. Once all rows are complete, use what you've learned to solve the final Phrasicle clue.
🧩 How It Works
- The first and last words in each row are already filled in.
- The first letter of the next word in the chain is provided. Use clues if needed to reveal more letters.
- Enter words into the blank spaces to form natural two-word phrases to complete the word chains. These can be phrases like chill out (“chill” + “out”) or board game (“board” + “game”) as well as compound words like sunflower (“sun” + “flower”) or paperclip (“paper” + “clip”) as seen in the example grid below.
- You can use up to 10 clues total to reveal any 10 letters. Your tier depends on the number of clues you use so use them sparingly!. If you use 0-3 clues = 🥇 Gold, 4-6 clues = 🥈 Silver, 7-10 clues = 🥉 Bronze
- If you reveal the grid you are automatically in the 🥉 bronze tier so dont give up!
- The Phrasicle will be a common saying or turn of phrase. To solve the Phrasicle, use the words you've revealed in the grid to fill the blanks in the Phrasicle clue. For example, if your clue is "__ __ at a __" and you've revealed the words One, Step and Time in your grid, the Phrasicle could be "One Step at a Time". Submit the entire phrase in the text box to solve the Phrasicle and earn your stars!

💡 Tips
- Think in short phrases: e.g., “paper clip,” “game plan,” “top hat.”
- Work backwards - you have two words available in the chain to help connect the chain.
- Try to solve the phrasicle first if you are stuck finishing the grid. This could help to fill in missing words in the chain.
🤔 Stuck?
- If you get stumped you can Reveal the Grid, but you won't be able to earn the star for completing the grid yourself, so don't give up too quickly! From there, try your best to solve the Phrasicle using the revealed grid to still earn 2 stars!
- If you do get stumped on the Phrasicle, an option to End Game & Reveal Phrasicle will appear once you've fully finished the grid or revealed it with the Reveal Grid button. Remember though, the Phrasicle will always use the words you found in the grid, so try to mix and match to earn those last 2 stars!
